The love between a mother and child is unlike anything else.
It's something you honestly can't grasp until you have children
of your own and experience it first hand.
As I sat holding my first born I though to myself that I'd never forget her tiny features, those little sounds she made, those sleepy time smiles.
As a mother of 2, who are now 8 and 4, I can tell you that without photos I would remember NONE of those things. Honestly after I had Aiden everyone kept going on about how he was Henleys twin and I thought they were nuts. They looked nothing alike....until I went back and looked at Hens photos from the same age....
I want to take that FEELING
and turn it into a photo.
A photo that becomes art in your home. You'll walk past it everyday and some days you'll just stare at that chubby faced baby in the photo wondering where that baby went.

Everyone else was right, they were twins and I didn't even see it. It's because I was in the thick of navigating being a new mom that this entire season is still just a fog.

I've always worked with babies and children and although it can be challenging I actually prefer them to adults, hence why I don't shoot weddings ;) Kids inherently want to have fun, they are full of innocence and oblivious to the negativities of the world. They ALWAYS speak the truth, as harsh as it may be sometimes....you'll understand this the first time they embarass you out in public speaking too loudly about someone!
